Kelly Kasle is a Los Angeles-based musician, concert producer, and podcast host. Her career synthesizes entrepreneurship, music making, storytelling, and growing the classical music industry. After completing degrees in Bassoon Performance and Arts Leadership at the Eastman School of Music (BM ‘14) and Southern Methodist University (MM ‘16), she moved to Los Angeles in September of 2016.
As a bassoonist, Kelly teaches with several youth orchestras and gigs with various groups in Los Angeles. In her own performance projects she focuses on expanding the bassoon’s repertoire, chamber music, and working with living composers. She has an ongoing collaboration with electronics composer Jason Heath to explore new ways of using the bassoon. In the summertime you will find Kelly bringing together young bassoonists at Bocal Majority double reed camp and performing as a Faculty Artist at the Maryland Wind Festival. Since graduating from Eastman, Kelly has enjoyed being an active member of the local Sigma Alpha Iota alumni chapter in her community.
After working in different administrative roles with a variety of organizations, Kelly built her own business to help artists and organizations plan and execute dream projects and grow to the next level. Her services include branding and social media strategies, organizational development and project planning, concert design and production, and media. Kasle Enterprises has a roster of artists and organizations including Grammy-award winning Singer, Songwriter, and Actress Hila Plitmann, the Westside Youth Orchestra, composer Russell Steinberg, and the Santa Monica Conservatory of Music. In addition, she is active in LA’s new music scene as a freelance production assistant and regularly works with Produced by BEAR to produce innovative concerts and events. Currently the BEAR team is working on the second-annual Festivals MARS happening in Downtown Los Angeles in October 2018.
